Growing up, I dreamed of two things: to live in Washington, DC, and to become a Realtor. Although I was raised in Redlands, California, I was always drawn to our nation’s capital, a place steeped in such history and splendor. And as a self-described people person, the idea of working closely with clients to help them navigate a momentous life event like buying or selling a home was irresistible.
So, after a career in Human Resources — where I learned the invaluable art of listening — and a stint as a small business owner, I decided that it was time to start living the life I had always envisioned for myself. And while my previous experiences prepared me well for the world of real estate, once I made the transition, I never looked back.
